Welcome to Allen College!

Mandatory New Student Orientation is on Friday, May 23, 2025.

We are excited to have you join the Allen College family. Orientation is an exciting and important, one-day event that is required for all incoming students. Orientation is designed to welcome you to campus and familiarize you with your program.  It is an opportunity to meet your faculty, make new friends and discover the supportive community that is Allen!

  • Thursday, May 1, 2025: Deadline to RSVP and confirm Orientation attendance.
    • Confirm attendance by email admissions@allencollege.edu or phone (319) 226-2014. Failure to confirm may result in withdrawal from your program.
    • Orientation is held on campus unless preapproved by your program director.
  • Thursday, May 15, 2025: Deadline for all Orientation requirements. Check Document Tracking in your student portal, MyPulse to track new requirements. Follow links for detailed instructions.
    • Access your Allen College email account and check often; Refer to separate communication regarding email set up.
    • Electronically sign and return the Adobe Sign documents sent to your Allen College email.
    • Submit Student ID Photo.
    • Complete CliftonStrengths (access code sent to Allen College email).
      • You can use your CliftonStrengths in all aspects of life: academically and personally! We will use this report during your orientation and into your education journey with Allen College.
    • Complete UPH Training Station modules in Cornerstone.
    • Complete Blackboard training.
    • Bring government issued ID to orientation (state license or passport).
